Phase 1 : Base Model Design -

01/11/2024 : 3D Modeling Project Begins.
Provided 6 Puffco silicone pieces to 3D modeling partner: OG Peak Base, Peak Pro Base, Proxy Joystick Sleeve & Cap, Peak Pro Joystick Sleeve & Cap, Peak Pro Oculus Grommet, Peak Pro Ball Cap Grommet.
Each piece is meticulously recreated using professional modeling software, going over several revisions and modifications. This includes developing a "sine wave" flourish as a distinctive brand signature.
04/15/2024 : Supernovations Website Launch. First B2B & D2C sales generated, brand identity established.
06/04/2024 : 3D Models Final Approval:

06/26/2024 : TPU Prototypes Approval. PHASE 1 COMPLETE.

07/29/2024 : Development Begins. Combine elements of Peak Pro Ball Cap Grommet with Joystick Cap & Sleeve into a new Joystick Cap Grommet . Use Joystick Cap & Sleeve to create Tether & Sleeve.
Repeat process with Proxy Joystick Cap & Sleeve to create Proxy Zeta Cap grommet and Proxy Orion's Belt & Sleeve.
08/28/2024 : Final Models Approval
05/05/2025 : Polling in Puffco Communities to determine which pieces to produce first.

05/12/2025 : Manufacturer Selected & Quoted, Production Material Selected.

06/19/2026 : First Color Options Announced:
8/15/2025 : Financing Independently Acquired. Crowdfunding closed after 6 pre-orders received. Proof of market demand captured.
8/20/2025 : Final Production Quotes Requested
8/24/2025 : "PROJECT : ORION" is moving forward into the Production Phase beginning in September 2025. Manufacturer estimates both pieces ready by January 2026.
9/30/2025 : Silicone Mold Production begins. Estimated test run in November 2025.
10/24/2025 : Molds & Test Run Complete. Photo from manufacturer, showing Orion's Belt Tethers, Zeta Joystick Caps, and Solo Jacket & Cap pieces in Guardian, Onyx, Indiglow Blue, Opal (Clear), and Indiglow Violet:
01/26/2026 : Sleeve fitment redesigned, color match performed by silicone manufacturer. Test Samples #2:
Production begins upon approval of fitment and color match.
05/21/2026 : Fitment Approved. Final color selections for Guardian, Onyx, and Indiglow Violet went through a few revisions, Violet being the most difficult to accurately match. See samples below:

07/01/2026 : Final Product Arrives @ SUPERNOVATIONS in Colorado. All units accounted for and looking perfect! We have 3 Models and 5 colors for each.

07/02/2026 : Quality Control Day 1. Random samples from the mass order of 15 individual variants are set aside; 25 of each. Nitrile gloves are used for handling of all new product. Each piece is washed in 99% isopropyl alcohol to remove any possible contamination during manufacture or transpory and to remove any errant silicone debris from manufacturing process. Pieces are then patted dry, dried further in front of a fan, and set aside to fully dry and air cure overnight.
07/03/2026 : Quality Control Day 2.Testing 10 individual pieces per batch of 25 by placing them on both a Puffco Peak Pro 3D Chamber & 3DXL Chamber to ensure proper seating and sealing. All 25 from each batch are visually inspected for tears or defects with a headlamp. Once passing inspection, each piece is individually placed in a pre-labeled mylar bag and sealed. Blue and Clear Solo Sleeves are done, all passed QC inspection.
07/06/2026 : Quality Control Day 3 : Process of testing, inspecting, and bagging 375 individual units continues. Solo Sleeves QC complete. Initial mock-up concepts for product photoshoot complete.
07/08/2026 : MISSION COMPLETE! We are pleased to announce that all units have passed Quality Control inspection!
